"Sign Language" and "EJ" are paintings which grew out of my musical and teaching work,
with children facing multiple challenges -- and, most especially,
with non-verbal children challenged by autism.
I continue my interest in the therapeutic value and uses of music,
and in the ways the body, brain, soul, and mind "work" musically.
I treasure and am blessed by every moment I spent/spend
with the children entrusted to my care, and am continually humbled
by how much they taught me--and continue to teach me.
